Racing for a Poem

You scribble a talent and then a skill,
Voice of the mind becomes the norm,
You nibble on food and pay the bill,
Scenic memories begin to form,
You write the moment on paper until
Foreign orders enter the dorm,
The alarm went off, you know the drill,
And so, the ideas started to deform,
Your body, now exhausted by the thrill,
The mind speaks of a great storm,
Except, you just need words to fill
Few lines about a person, and form
An extraordinary poem but still
Trying to get my mind to transform.
