Never Let Her Go

I planted seeds of sweet royalty,
And I watered some warmth,
I observed her as she grew up,
A year of gorgeous blossoming,
The heart of my fruitful garden,
And now I must let my soulfriend go.

A strong and independent plant,
And I need to travel for few years,
I have faith in her but I am also –
Afraid; fear from the unknown,
First time to react for a plant,
And now I must let my star go.

To others, she might be normal,
To me, unique; a rare treasure,
A special plant that I discovered,
I must act blind and hide my tears,
Such that I can move on and smile,
And now I must let my twin go.

My words will start to diminish,
Otherwise the cyclical agony
Will forever continue its haunt,
But I am extremely proud of her,
She is me in almost everything,
And now I will never let her go.

Rhythmic Beings

The heart is agonised as it beats for its angel,
Turning right in a reverse motion outwards,
Disoriented as if a newborn yearning for warmth,
Love and compassion are its compass,
Faintly immersing its emotions calling for hers’,
Pitch perfect,
An artist is thriving,
In a melodic continuity,
Towards infinity,
For every beat is worth billions of stars,
But struggling to beat less intensely,
So as to not give hints to by-passers,
But holds for few seconds and skips beats,
Out on long distances they hold onto threads,
Drums of passion hammering a rhythmic cry,
On the dancing stage their performance ignites,
And as it walks towards closed arms,
She glimpses his sudden jump and opens,
And he lets go.

O Heart

O heart!
O the beast to my tears!
Cease your playful habits that
Produce chains of burning pain.
She likes me, but loves me not,
And so, I am fit for no one.

O heart!
O the drumming sound of agony!
Release your strangling hands
From my limbs of instability.
She moves away as
I free my hugging arms.

O heart!
O the demise of this aching body!
Fire your heat away from
My delusional mind.
She eyes another as I release
One final kiss to her cheeks.

O heart!
O crimson flower of autumn’s death!
Fall into an abyss below
My musically run feet.
She is the carved beauty of an angel,
And I am never that.

O it hurts!
