An Unknown Dimension

As a whisperer to earths and heavens,
And a wanderer with an ancient heritage,
A nomad with a distant destined future,
Nearing to the point where everything halts,
Abrupt discovery of an unknown universe,
Through a dimension unbeknown to him,
As he starts to swim into her galactic eyes,
Fading into her warm hallowed curves,
Dancing to her rhythmic smiling beats,
Playing an instrument on her delicate skin,
A melodious musical just between the two,
Under celestial guidance to forever bloom,
And until that day arrives, he sends letters,
Of many hugs and kisses, and of infinite love.

No, Wrong

I found a blooming flower,
Less nourished, innocent,
Somewhat crooked, tired,
I set observation platforms,
And I water it surreptitiously,
Afraid – she bends away,
Curious – she bends forward,
A dance of some sort –
Yet, all I wanted was to observe –
All she wanted was a bit more –
Now, unable to decide,
Confusion overlaps logic,
Between here and then,
Keeping distance for a day,
Living together for three,
Into the unknown and into our future,
What lies ahead is what we do today,
And I need to learn to say no,
I think – to let it – cease –
Because – it is – I think – wrong.

Of Moons and Men

What if two moons
Endure a fated collision,
And then plan to invade
The vibrant green planet,
Crashing on its crust
To pull it together or apart,
Bleeding into its valleys
Distancing its wounds from the past,
Their debris treasured
Within the depths of graves,
Men to erect totems
For a sacrificial burial,
A possible resurrection
To rule over other Men,
Lustful villainous desires
Ending in an abyssal black hole,
Woes to the greed of Men
As the moons glow in ascension.

?

Question mark,
A symbol of lost letters,
Void of emotions,
Exploring tones,
Thoughts fading,
Actions I sought,
Our connection – cut off,
Ceasing my search,
For a treasure,
And yet, to you,
I decided to be vulnerable,
The one who knew me – the most,
A past tense,
Unable to return to,
Like how a question
Delves into unnecessary lives,
The answers to which
Were not even sought,
Lost between these lines,
Alas, as far as I can be,
A change I cannot bear,
So, farewell as I resume my distance.

Split in Two

I
Outstretching a hand to a falling leaf,
A farewell ritual dancing with the breeze,
Purifying the land for its soft touches,
Commemorating our distant smiles,
And further, further it continues to leave,
So, I chose to quickly pick it up and hold it,
Sending all my warmth to its inner core,
Tending to its many complex arid cracks,
Some were so deep and beyond repair,
And even as close as I can be I am still –
Still unsure of my ability to intervene,
All I can do is allow Time to heal itself.

II
And whilst I dream about a surreal era,
Where cracks flawlessly diffuse forever,
Where I await mine to be softly tended,
Or at least to be acknowledged; at least,
Another decides to ride the whispers
Of a warm wind guiding a silent nomad,
Which sounds so elegantly majestic,
And yet, it leaves behind a heavy mirage,
Silence becomes my natural remedy,
Still unsure of my ability to intervene,
All I can do is allow Time to heal itself.

Rhythmic Beings

The heart is agonised as it beats for its angel,
Turning right in a reverse motion outwards,
Disoriented as if a newborn yearning for warmth,
Love and compassion are its compass,
Faintly immersing its emotions calling for hers’,
Pitch perfect,
An artist is thriving,
In a melodic continuity,
Towards infinity,
For every beat is worth billions of stars,
But struggling to beat less intensely,
So as to not give hints to by-passers,
But holds for few seconds and skips beats,
Out on long distances they hold onto threads,
Drums of passion hammering a rhythmic cry,
On the dancing stage their performance ignites,
And as it walks towards closed arms,
She glimpses his sudden jump and opens,
And he lets go.

Another Letter Emerges

Wow! The letter J once had
An impact so great that drums of
Universe would pierce my cage,
It is my past stored in archives,
But as of today, now, in the era
Defined by many referendums,
I now form a campaign with one
Particular letter to somehow
Grant me a wish to fulfil my
Organic human needs: soulmate!

Whether you believe in such a notion
Depends on the distance between
The two of you where time is a
Function superimposing velocity on
This rapid world skipping many
Heartbeats for few coins as if
A collector meant to flash the
Headlines of economic magazines;
Pause! Pace your pulsating breaths;
Now play your part in this dance.

Keep wondering your wondrous
Minds about this Universe’s wonders,
For I have created invitation letters
To this winter’s dance recital after the short
Interviews during summer and autumn,
For a dramatic act in a Shakespearean
Theatrical play to be screened in spring.
Ay! I will be directing their souls into
My heart’s secret chambers, and as of
Today, now, this moment, this second –

Indeed, the letter J transformed into another,
And as I hunt down their delicate souls,
I might just as well clash into them
Altogether, and create a big bang bigger
Than the bangs of bonfires of my Universe,
Celebrating the infinite possibilities with them
Or none at all as the heart plays back a
Recorded message about – no, stop!
Pause! Have faith, poet, have faith! Okay,
Now play! Play along, new letter, play!

Let the races begin as the chariots
Swarm the gladiators’ arena of love,
Just brave enough to sing romantic
Melodies written in ancient scrolls,
And even when out of tune, one
Will tune it back to its best form
Assisted by her free mind to free
Her soul and fly her eyes onto a
Nightingale’s freedom: soulmate,
There and then, the stage curtains kiss.
