A Child’s Game

Raise your level of imagination,
To that of a child building those
Blocks of letters, stacking them,
With that contagious tiny smile,
He might get absorbed into the
Colours and use that to solve a
Problem that he himself might
Have created, but he will feel
A challenge with exhilarating
Rush of emotions once logical
Reasons permits him to finish,
Or he might endure one more
Rule of his own creation where
The edges of perfectly-shaped
Letter cubes should be aligned,
Or not, as it depends on his brain
Waves cooperating with his heart
To beat for a vibrant self-portrait,
Here, creativity was explored with
A bunch of wooden cubes, see,
One might disregard the details to
Conclude that it is ever so boring,
But maybe you just need to raise
Your level of imagination, and
Observe those friendly monsters
Surrounding this child to play with
Him this simple but awesome game.

Do stand on an isolated bus stop,
The train will arrive any second,
Galloping through this sphere,
A time machine that will unfold,
And do await like never before,
An unwanted box full of gifts,
Finally accepted with open arms,
Albeit, emotions do get tangled,
Solution: extinguish the candle,
Hope for a better tomorrow,
No, somehow just work it out,
Make your stance formidable,
A foundation for a skyscraper,
And rebuild the broken parts,
Hidden under layers of dust,
And please do forgive yourself.

Uncertain of the watered earth
(Dampened from a drowning sky)
To recollect the puzzled fragments
That grew on ancient branches,
Disintegrated by another soul
That was diseased out of society,
Something contagious is now
After my own insecure self,
Remedies with side effects,
And somehow I might be cured,
Perhaps, the notion of wild
Emotions will now disappear,
An erased historical movement,
Undermined to empower ignorance,
And certainly, I am now shaken
By this huge jigsaw puzzle with
Deliberately missing pieces,
Another movement to elude
A dimensionless emotion
Into many hopeful hugs and
Slightly less skewed kisses,
Buildings demolished for their
Outdated archaeological
Blueprints covered in dust,
But now, a third movement
Attempts to recover missing shards,
And renovate the soul into society,
Surely, this delusional phase is
Just a selfish juvenile uproar,
A system to infinitely drive
The soul into many dead-ends,
The cruelty of this life’s maze,
Constellations have begun to
Change or even disappear,
Severing the bond this soul
Once had with its own tree,
Dismissing all forms of guidance
To follow a narrow passage,
Just enough for few pulses
Of sunlight and moonlight,
And now, this quivering soul is
Branched into the watered earth,
Drowned towards uncertainty.

Lovely Yellow

Farewell to the yellow star that shined
The copious chambers of my silky soul,
The delicious apple cake reflected the
Amber wavy hair that curtains around
Her long neck; a unique design that is
Meant to juggle my zealous emotions,
Golden giggles baking for my farewell,
Yes indeed, parting on so many levels,
O lovely yellow of this deserted heart.

Emotional Explosion

Is it true that when you miss
Someone –
So much –
The atmosphere becomes
Full of emotions
The words to … form?

Is it also true that when you try to make an
Eye contact –
Just one
Simple, direct, warm
Eye contact
The racing emotional roller coaster
Leaves them
Wondering around … distracted?

Surely when you stand tall and firm
To walk
Less than a metre
Worth of steps the
Emotional barricade
Blocks all limbs from reaching
That person –
That moment is now … gone?

Would it not then leave you
Or maybe angry –
So angry
That the heart still
Aches –
Beats against all its walls
And requests for its
Freedom from … emotions?
