To My Offspring

I just wrote an encrypted letter,
Layered with seven coding systems,
Then I rolled it for a forgotten era,
Picked up a green ribbon for a knot,
A clear glass bottle for transportation,
And a sea for an unknown itinerary,
Forty-six months without a reply,
Trapped in a dimensionless time,
Awaiting the whispers of an angel,
Voices of my ancestry start to tremble,
The return of our long-lost kingdom was
But a mirage in a servant’s mind,
The forest trees have burnt,
The valleys became arid wastelands,
Scorching heat and starless nights,
And all I could wish for was the comfort in
Lying over our forefathers’ graves,
Keeping an eye for the falcon’s shadow,
In hope for a living, for a resurrection,
For some powerful force to guide the
Bottled letter through the nine oceans,
But it is my time to bid you farewell, Offspring.

Ribbon of Friendship

Hand me our ribbon of friendship,
The one we tied long time ago,
Its redness used to fire sparks,
But now, it is fading away – bit by bit.

So, open your little treasure box,
Smash it into pieces if need be,
Just hand me that crimson piece
That is now fading away – bit by bit.

Untie those little double knots,
At least hand me the bruised half,
Bring scissors and observe me,
Since it is now fading away – bit by bit.

Let me now hug our friendship,
Allow my heart to fuel its flames,
And rekindle a touch of radiance,
So that it never fades away again.

The Music of Our Tongue

I
Let me know about the Northern Star
For she has this glamorous smile, and
Her dance is just another constellation,
Another dimension, another Universe,
You know what! She is our Universe.

II
How could you tell me that you aren’t
What we perceive or define as beauty,
How could you utter such words from
The gorgeous lips glamorously shining
And beating the drums out of my mind
And the heart that always loves you.

III
The beauty contest has given the first
Ribbon to you – the glitters of a starry
Unicorn, and although you might not
Sing, I still listen to your infinite song
Sung for my humble beating heart,
I adore your cuteness, and thus, do
Not change, oh lovely unicorn, keep
Being yourself and never change.
