No, Wrong

I found a blooming flower,
Less nourished, innocent,
Somewhat crooked, tired,
I set observation platforms,
And I water it surreptitiously,
Afraid – she bends away,
Curious – she bends forward,
A dance of some sort –
Yet, all I wanted was to observe –
All she wanted was a bit more –
Now, unable to decide,
Confusion overlaps logic,
Between here and then,
Keeping distance for a day,
Living together for three,
Into the unknown and into our future,
What lies ahead is what we do today,
And I need to learn to say no,
I think – to let it – cease –
Because – it is – I think – wrong.

The Innocent Dance of N

Señorita, the wonders of artistic wisdom,
Painting her rainbow smiles to exhilarate
Pens performing ceremonial calligraphy,
She catches glimpses of a magical fortune,
To a beautiful tomorrow that she sculpts,
And a relaxing warmth that she keeps close,
Hugging her own adorable days into a portrait,
Still, even today, I see her innocent dance.

When It Rained

Today, the rain drenched its own face
With tears as it touched my lips,
Commemorating a day where it left
Its own purified heavenly home,
And here I am still covering my face,
Hiding from its painful hushing drums,
A musical to the dancing hearts of nature,
Trees swinging to rescue every raindrop,
To revitalise its soul with earthly minerals,
Ah would you look at the new leaves,
Emerging and growing as the Sun glorifies
Its beauty across the endless horizon,
Now, it ascends back to its heavenly home.

My Dutch Friend

Historical dialogue between Earth and humans
Caused for banners to be put on our heavens,
The arms of humanity held one another for a
Chance to relive the beauty of nature’s purity,
And you are no different, O gorgeous friend,
Whether our time can be put in numerical
Forms or our memories can be inscribed on
The ancient pages of this Earth’s history,
Know that our encounter was definitely fated;
You see, the person who actually attracted
Me to that lovely group of friends was you,
Your energetic soul broadened its wings to
Soar over my delicate heart and fulfil the
Isolation that I felt at that moment; indeed,
I still remember, and I kept this to myself,
But not today, today I’ll tell you how rare
This friendship is; despite the short numerical
Time and the archived inscription of memories,
From your smiles and your amazing accent
To your sports and your social acceleration,
You made me look forward to the weekends,
In hope that I go back to the hostel and see
Each one of ye together for a wonderful time,
And ye were there and you were definitely there, too,
So I will delay my warm and loving thanks
Until I actually come to the Netherlands to see
You in person, and that day might be getting close.

A Blink of an Eye

Have you noticed how a blink of an eye
Iz so draztix that the letdez dawnt fitt
The preskribd loz of the aflabits?
But wenn the I’z blinnc mor and mor –
UUell, knaw pleez blenc a-gay-n – ohkay,
Wan mor tyme so that the two little
Curtains of your vivacious musical
Close assisted by the waters of life,
Lubricating an eye into a rapid motion.

Have you noticed how a blink of an eye
Gets an important invitation to moisten
The fruitful life and this avoids dryness
From sucking the logical sense of
These written words out of their
Natural voices, and if by some random
Phenomenon you blink excessively,
Then the world would voluntarily spin
Out of control leaving you with a
Bothersome black blind of a blink.

And have you noticed that today
You sometimes blink to change the
Visual effects of your worldly matter
Just to relive a more colourful film,
Or avoid a bright white energy,
And readjust your camera lenses,
And this might work fine, but it
Might also leave you in dismay,
Disbelieving in a blink of an eye,
Where repetition might just work.

And have you noticed that some
Blinks close to never reopen?
Their whispers have gone, too,
Never did you notice, did you? –
How a blink of an eye will change
The course of your thinking
About the ancestors that became
Your world today and how today
Becomes tomorrow after leaving
Your blink of an eye very silent.

But can you imagine that all of this
Is only the work of a blink of an eye?!

Lavender

Yes, lavender – that was the word,
The search has ended and hope has
Been reached for everyone who
Fancies purple and all its vibrant
Distinct shades – I adore lilac for
No particular reason except organs
Evolved to hunt it down if it ever
Appeared amongst a painted
Landscape – an obsession where
Fashion has stolen lilac for its own
Antiquity to wrap around my soul,
And today, I sit in a warm tea shop,
Vibrant music distinctively amusing
The soul to ask the girl for some
Tea that nakedly bares lavender.

A Nearing Day

One day that is nearer than
Yesterday – similar to today,
I fascinate my eyes in winter,
Surround the house with birds,
Light few candles and wish
For a moment of a meeting,
A song to be sung by nature,
The naturally organised chaos,
With many may I’s and you may’s,
And my, I’d surely find you
The most gorgeous creature
Alive. Flawless. Holy. In love.
