Hunger Too

Wake me up when thou hearest
The cracks under thy foot
Of bones fractured –
Hallow thy day and
Hallow thy night –
Unrepairable fragments,
A touch of candlelit dinners.
O what thine hour awakest
A heart beseeches for innocent
Souls – betwixt good and evil –
I lie alone in this forsaken cave,
A haply meeting with humans
Dismembered for my tummy.
Foul their tongues –
Ah juicy eyes and brains when
Crushed ‘gainst one ‘nother,
And juicy their limbs –
Thou hast guts filled with disgust
Rotten meat, my wanion – sigh,
Erelong the meal shall be dropped,
Argh, still filled with thy rotten meat!
I feel sleep,
Hunger, too.
