An Unknown Dimension

As a whisperer to earths and heavens,
And a wanderer with an ancient heritage,
A nomad with a distant destined future,
Nearing to the point where everything halts,
Abrupt discovery of an unknown universe,
Through a dimension unbeknown to him,
As he starts to swim into her galactic eyes,
Fading into her warm hallowed curves,
Dancing to her rhythmic smiling beats,
Playing an instrument on her delicate skin,
A melodious musical just between the two,
Under celestial guidance to forever bloom,
And until that day arrives, he sends letters,
Of many hugs and kisses, and of infinite love.

A Night’s Treasure

Comfort the limbs of your heart,
And breathe for another revival,
Sometimes you might need to
Move your soul through the fog,
Because you know that ascension
Along the galactic celestial pathway
Will inevitably lead you to Heaven,
Yet, do not trespass laws of life,
For you will seldom find peace,
So, go and find serenity in nature,
For it will guide you to smile,
Like, how the moon whispers
Its glow on the river’s surface,
An endless supply of a night’s treasure.

To My Offspring

I just wrote an encrypted letter,
Layered with seven coding systems,
Then I rolled it for a forgotten era,
Picked up a green ribbon for a knot,
A clear glass bottle for transportation,
And a sea for an unknown itinerary,
Forty-six months without a reply,
Trapped in a dimensionless time,
Awaiting the whispers of an angel,
Voices of my ancestry start to tremble,
The return of our long-lost kingdom was
But a mirage in a servant’s mind,
The forest trees have burnt,
The valleys became arid wastelands,
Scorching heat and starless nights,
And all I could wish for was the comfort in
Lying over our forefathers’ graves,
Keeping an eye for the falcon’s shadow,
In hope for a living, for a resurrection,
For some powerful force to guide the
Bottled letter through the nine oceans,
But it is my time to bid you farewell, Offspring.

National Day of Robotic Maintenance

Your story, main character, and world
Talked to me, to the elders of my tribe,
During an elusive era where simple
Silhouettes walk on a desert’s horizon,
Searching to settle near a fruitful oasis,
And when books were written to
Commemorate our legends, they were
Suffocated to never reveal the rightful heir,
(to a scorching throne buried in quicksand)
Yet, after decades of silence the glorious
Book was resurrected in a classical concert,
Soon to be confiscated, burnt, and our
Whispering hearts to be forever silenced,
Now, we are but drones awaiting the
National Day of Robotic Maintenance.

Protect You, I Will

Whisper to me,
Interrupt my vision,
In euphoria,
Emotional trance,
A heart’s utopia,
Hands wrap around,
Bodies buried within,
Harmonious collisions,
Self-portrait unmasked,
Bloodshot eyes,
Ragged clothes,
Wounded mind,
Scarred knuckles,
Fading into loud sirens,
Shadows gathering,
Few coming into focus,
Gravity seems powerful,
Time is out of reach,
Hopelessness conceived,
Soldier resurrected.

The Figure and Her

Like a perfect morning Spring breeze,
Like a rare galactic celestial star,
Like an iron heart beating for a lost twin,
Mesmerising momentarily in greater depth,
At a figure, she paints from the unknown,
A mixture of shadows, a masterpiece, a landscape,
For her to soar, like a bird,
For her to cherish, like a treasure,
For what life brings her, like this figure,
And so, it starts to dance to her smiles,
Stargazing at her beating heart that twinkles afar,
And in turn, she snows nearby landing on its cheeks,
Hearing its whispers as she silences the world,
For seven hours straight, the figure is her all,
For many more at night, she is its delicate soul,
Without her, the figure is emotionless,
The son of a concerned mother,
The brother of a proud sister,
The aging father of a little girl,
To it, she becomes the definition of home,
A place to hold onto and to always return,
A shelter to its heart, a constellation to its mind,
An ongoing novella depicting the merging of souls,
Linguistically phenomenal as both start to realise,
A preface of dubbed barriers to never lose a translation,
A chapter of tones to reach complete perception,
And yet, a different chapter consumes all emotions,
Like a breeze that comes and goes,
Like a shooting star nowhere to be found,
Like a heart that switches to a highborn,
The plot thickens and the twist befalls,
A heavenly meeting was decreed for a resolution,
Three decades holding onto nomadic tents,
Leaving few years thinking to never come back,
And yet, this figure, out of nowhere comes back,
Part of the desert, earthly merged for eternity,
For what reasoning this soul comprehends
Is beyond the logical laws of a galactic universe,
The figure and her are just a story of a great return.

Friends of Nature

Let the sun escape through the
Leaves and reach her pink cheeks,
Let the calm wind wave its wings
On AA’s smile and fly around us,
Let the songs of birds translate into
RC to reach our lovely hearts,
Let heavenly wisdom condense
Into AS’s soul for a blessed day,
Let the energetic flow of rivers run
Into SG to share his dance,
And let the wildest of flowers
Bloom the wonders of SK.

Meanwhile, their natural whispers enter
My inner core to enlighten our era.

My Forever Angel

When the heart races for you,
The drumming sounds of life
Brings joyous smiles even when
It dwells at the edges of the world,
And even if it digs deep within
Its quaking earth or soars over
Volcanic mountains, my Angel,
Your warming smile births
Childhood whispers with dreams
So vast such that one day, mom,
You may live so proud of me.

Engraved Whispers

As old and magnificent as a banyan tree,
I sat by the unearthed curved roots,
Eastern celestial hand holding its leaves,
While the other is wrapped around its bark,
A dance ceremony to hear its whispers,
Symbiotically shared with soothing birdsongs,
Angelic beings roaming to find harmony,
However, a green leaf will soon depart,
And along with it will the hanging lanterns fade,
Except, if you truly saw the heart of the tree,
And the whispers it wrote on the walls of
Imperial palaces to root their thrones,
Then you will realise the hope in igniting
Your heart to beat melodiously once more,
Because there is no reason to pause a life,
Like birds, constantly ascending the heavens,
And so, I must relay its whispers to another,
But within it you shall always be engraved.

Split in Two

I
Outstretching a hand to a falling leaf,
A farewell ritual dancing with the breeze,
Purifying the land for its soft touches,
Commemorating our distant smiles,
And further, further it continues to leave,
So, I chose to quickly pick it up and hold it,
Sending all my warmth to its inner core,
Tending to its many complex arid cracks,
Some were so deep and beyond repair,
And even as close as I can be I am still –
Still unsure of my ability to intervene,
All I can do is allow Time to heal itself.

II
And whilst I dream about a surreal era,
Where cracks flawlessly diffuse forever,
Where I await mine to be softly tended,
Or at least to be acknowledged; at least,
Another decides to ride the whispers
Of a warm wind guiding a silent nomad,
Which sounds so elegantly majestic,
And yet, it leaves behind a heavy mirage,
Silence becomes my natural remedy,
Still unsure of my ability to intervene,
All I can do is allow Time to heal itself.
